oh i watched it just now, i cried halfway through lol. i'm excited

 

Someone told me yesterday the shipping officially happened and my preorder said 5 days shipping, know if that's true at all?

If so all SE preorders arrive Monday!

 

I dunno, I haven't pre-ordered anywhere! Sorry.

I have a pro membership at Gamestop and I get coupons from them regularly, so that's where I'll be going to get it (the deluxe edition - I want to watch the movie before playing and the steelbook looks lovely).

 

Nice nice, I had been meaning to ask if you watched the movie or if you were holding out for the physical release.

 

I keep hoping Amazon will ship it early but I know it isn't happening. I'm just so freaking excited for this game.

 

My copy is preparing to ship, according to Amazon. Getting the deluxe edition since I wanted the movie and the steelbook. Haven't watched the movie yet. Disappointed it comes out after my long Thanksgiving break, but super excited it's nearly finally in my hands, after so long waiting.

 

Got ultimate collectors edition and will post lots of (non-game/cinematics) pictures upon opening it

 

Fishing sidequest in a main FF game. Can't wait.

What are these "spoilers" everyone is talking about... You mean plot spoilers, or just game details?

I can't wait to see what the Kinda Funny guys say. They are always pretty real. Plus, you have one guy who is a huge fan of the series, one who is in the middle and one who isn't. Seems like you'll get a well rounded opinion.

With a game with this length, I wonder how anyone can be far enough along to properly rate this though?

 

just read the kotaku review and he was raving about post-ending content, but didn't really give a timeframe beyond "i got the code thanksgiving week" and "finished it 430 AM" without day timeframe

 

I've been keeping up with the NeoGAF impressions thread and it seems like consensus is mainline story played straight through is about 20-35 hours with a pretty significant amount of post-game content.

Just spoiler-tagged the hour length in case anyone was concerned about that.

 

Also we don't know how early reviewers got the game. If it was given a few weeks ago, I suppose a good chunk of not all could probably have been done. I didn't think of that.

Glad the reviews are good. I wonder how long the main storyline is.

 

I ordered the game from Amazon and was given a confirmation that it would arrive Tuesday. Now it's telling me that the one day release date shipping will have it arrive Wednesday? What is the deal with this? Has anyone else had this issue?

 

Hopefully I'll have no problem picking this up tomorrow. Very sad that I'll have to wait until my girlfriend gets home at 9pm to actually play it though.

 

mine still says it's going to arrive tomorrow, but it hasn't shipped yet. I also didn't order it until Friday I think and had to pay extra for one-day shipping.

Also I have same-day shipping where I live so I don't know if that impacts it at all

 

I talked to a customer service rep who said that he will have it changed to arrive tomorrow. Still says Wednesday though... First world problems over here haha

 

I had that happen a few weeks ago with stuff for my Halloween costume. Basically just caused a fit to the customer service rep and they (internally with UPS) bumped it up to overnight shipping so you should be good. If not (at least in my case) you would get a free month of Prime.

Also just got my shipping notification and it's being shipped directly from Amazon
