This has nothing to do with Apple.

 

So my wife and I both have the 7 plus and both of us have the same problem. Every once in a while when we try to take a photo of something the phone just reboots. It doesn't turn off completely but the screen goes black and I get the white wheel spinning. It lasts for about a minute then everything is fine, I don't even have to unlock the phone it just goes back to what I was doing. Does that happen to anyone else?

Since we are talking about problems my iPhone 6 since the iOS 10 update does this thing where after inactive for how ever long I have it set to auto lock it slightly darkens the screen but never goes blank. Can't do anything until I It lock and then the lock screen comes up. Anyone have this happen or heard of it.

 

Not quite the same, but when my phone should auto lock, it will do the slighty darken thing for a few seconds, light back up for however long my auto-lock is set to, and then finally lock. I'm also using the 6

 

Wireless headphones are pretty relevant to iPhone 7 users right now, posting accessories hasn't ever been a problem before

 

^ this. I'd think wireless headphones are very relevant. Considering some as Christmas presents for my friends with iPhone 7

I got my replacement last week for this. The official statement wasn't a thing yet and I had to push for a replacement.

 

i haven't had shut down issues i just feel like the drain is pretty intense, doesn't even charge that well

 

for anyone considering a new macbook pro, my 13" with touch bar came in today and i absolutely love it

 

How are you liking the touch bar? I'm gonna get a 13" MacBook Pro regardless but I don't know if I should go touchbar or not. Should I save the extra $300 or spend it?

 

Haven't played around it with too much yet but it is nifty, and I like it more than I thought I would, though some things take an extra step, like making the screen brighter (though I think you can change that). Apple Pay with Touch ID is really cool. I thought some uses, like the thumbnails in photos, were super gimmicky and counterproductive, but having sliders for certain things is nice. I'm hoping as more apps integrate it it'll be more productive. My original plan was to get the bar-less one but significantly upgrade the storage, so if storage is crucial for you and you're maximizing value, it's probably not worth it.

Side note, the space gray looks beautiful in person, the speakers are great, and the screen makes my 2010 MBP look darn right pixelated. You'll be happy with either.

 

any thoughts on the Peel screen protector? never really used one before but my iPhone 6 bricked itself last night and had to get a 7. Peel is having a great sale right now and you can get the case and protector for $27.

 

I had the case and the protector on my 6s a few months ago, I love those cases. But I'm not good enough with my phone I guess. From a two inch drop the screen protector shattered. The phone was saved at least! They are really nice though.

 

I would love if Apple Music had a tab or section where it would show you music you haven't played in a while. I always go for the recently added section and forget about a bunch of music I have on my phone.

 

Make a smart playlist that sorts by songs not played in the last X days/months.

Oi peeps, I come to you with an issue.

A friend of mine had their iPhone stolen, though it's essentially a brick to whoever took it given that it's password and print locked and roaming is turned off, but that also makes it ostensibly impossible to track since it'll never get back online unless it's returned/recovered.

Key word being ostensibly. Are we totally screwed or is there a way to find this phone?

 

I'm pretty sure you would be fine with the 13" and i5 for your usage. Just depends on if you want to let go of the two inches of screen size you are used to.
