I think it's pretty clear that the Wolves are not quite ready. Lots of season left, but they set themselves back and they don't play good team defense. Given some of these rosters in the league, it's hard to just outscore others. Thibs should have plenty of bandwidth to coach and make an impact. Perhaps that's better in the long run.

What'll probably happen is something like wolves will trade for Mahimi once he's healthy, trade tyus jones to Houston and a protected pick to Washington and ry Anderson to Washington because gross. Minnesota will probably get another old man in the deal from somewhere.
