The episode is all Tara? This show's seasons have too many episodes. Ugh.

 

I don't know. I feel like maybe this show is best watched in a Netflix binge. I like the 16 episodes and the ability to focus more on individual characters. But it does get frustrating when you have to go 5 weeks without anything truly exciting happening. It wouldn't be bad if you could just blow through all those episodes in a single sitting.

 

Literally sounds awful.

 

I've been anti a lot of people blasting the last few episodes. But I may be joining pack here. Didn't get into this week. Just only really liked the scenes with guy from GTA V

 

I tend to like it when tv shows zero in on one or two characters, but with the walking dead it just bores me to tears. I don't think the last few episodes have been terrible, but I'm definitely losing interest

 

Forgot to mention this will be yet another extended episode too. So you know....happy Thanksgiving.

 

i aint even gonna waste my time this week. i'll just wait til next sunday and watch 6/7 back to back. i ain't fuckin with your games anymore walking dead

Guys don't forget about Heath. Maybe they had to make it extra long because it focuses on him... and his situation.

 

No but I don't need to know that an entire episode focused on Tara is going to blow.

 

I had to google Heath cause I even forgot who he is. And I spent last season calling Tara "Alana" cause I forgot her name

 

Feel like I'm in bizarro world being the only one on the site who wants to know what Tara's up to. She's the closest thing to representation I have on that show, and they need to stop killing off her girlfriends. Glenn was the first person to give her a chance and I wonder how she'll react when she finds out he's dead.

 

From what I understand about Heath, he and Tara get separated during their run. She goes back to look for him, sees a walker from behind, fears it's him, and is then relieved when the walker turns around and it's not him. From what I also understand, we just don't find out what happened to him. He's just gone. He's not been spotted filming any other episodes this season either so I guess that's it for Heath? He's just gone. Also when Tara does return to Alexandria at the very end, I guess we see Rosita catching her up to speed but apparently it's implied what she's being told (sad music plays while she presumably learns of her dead girlfriend and friends or some such). So yeah.

The only thing I find intriguing about this episode is the new group of people she runs into while out in the wilderness...

 

I wanna know what heath is up to. he has nice hair.

 

I genuinely have no idea who you all are talking about.

 

I just think she's a really bad actress. But I can understand how someone else might empathize with her.

 

I don't even remember what Heath was doing.

I guess I am in the minority, but I have seen nothing wrong with this season. This show has been about it's characters, so I don't mind eps that just deal with the characters. Isn't the formula a ton of character building eps, then something crazy, repeat?

I'm curious about what Carl is going to be doing. I thought the reason to have Daryl in the Savoir base was to show the audience the behind the scenes there instead of having Carl sneak in. Also, he's not a badass like in the comics, so I can't see it going well esp since he's not rolling with a gun. Also having Jesus involved is weird.

Telltale Season 3 is coming December 20th....looks like you're playing as a new character who meets up with Clem. Bummed we're not playing as Clem, I guess they've run out of ideas with her story from her POV.
As someone who's not nearly as down on the show as this thread seems to be....the game is soooooooo much better than the show and everyone should play the first two seasons ASAP.

 

On a related note, did anyone here play the michonne telltale game? I wasn't interested when it came out

 

First season is one of my favorite things ever. Both are definitely better than any one season of the show.
