I have a crush on a co-worker. I finally got the guts to talk to co-worker and we hung out during break.

We spent the 15 minutes talking politics, R&B and The Office. That was yhe best and I'm sad how little I will see her these couple of weeks.

It's really really unfamiliar territory to no longer be in a stage where I utterly doubt she actually likes me and am expecting her to realize I suck and dump me at every second.

 

I used to be like this all the time haha. I finally stopped thinking that way this year, I just kinda figured "Why would I expect something bad from someone I think so highly of?" and accepted that it was all real.

 

Yeah. She and I had a pretty complicated history and a long time of "friend zone" for lack of a better term that made it tougher to just accept. But I finally have and it's awesome.
