I've been seeing one girl for several months but it's been really casual and she seems sort of disinterested. I guess I need to talk to her about it but tbh we don't talk much

Did the whole break-up thing on Friday, so life is pretty scary atm. Not trying to dwell on it though, maybe have a date tonight (but I kinda wanna see Copeland), and been kinda talking to a girl from Tinder who seems really cool, so there's that at least

Ohh I see, well if that's what the point of breaking up was then I guess it makes sense. I just know if my boyfriend broke up with me and then I found out he was on a date the next week I would die. Actually, HE would die but I am not a chill ex-gf or gf at all and I would freak out.

Yeah, idk maybe dates is going a bit far, but this whole process was super emotionally draining to get to a point where we agreed this is what is best and try to maybe salvage a friendship. Also like, I've been out of the dating game for like 4 years now, really trying to get comfortable opening up and talking to people like that again.

 

Do whatever you think you need to do, I'm not here to make anyone feel bad that was just my initial reaction. Trust me i know 4 years is a long time and it'll be a lot of work to get back out there. There's no right or wrong way!

 

Two years ago today I went through a really bad breakup with my then fiance who slept with the guy who had been my best friend for 15 years. I'm mostly okay now, but having the reminder right before the holiday season and being single during it is kind of a drag. My closest cousin just got engaged a few months ago and my little brother is proposing to his girlfriend on Thanksgiving so I'm happy for them and everything, but still this time of year sucks a bit.

Yeah, haha, they are still a thing last I heard. I moved after graduation to KC which was about an hour away from our college town and then found out that they moved here too shortly after. It's a big city, but every time I'm out and about I still worry about running into them and what I'd do/say.

 

Fuckkkkkkk thattttttt. My ex went from working with me to moving to Holland and it has made things so much better.
