Allow me to just say, I can't believe I'll be playing FFXV in one week. I've spent almost my entire adult life waiting for this game. Seems kinda unreal at this point.

Anyone here play Rainbow 6 Siege? I don't think I've ever gotten more mileage out of game than I have with this one. It's probably one of the most fun games I've played in years

Don't sleep on Burnout Paradise

 

I'm in the exact same boat. This has probably become my favorite game of his generation. Ubisoft has been excellent with their support of the game

 

I feel this way about The Last Guardian for sure.

 

Solid games with Games With Gold though I have already played two of them and watched a playthrough of another. Outland looks kind of interesting though sidescrollers I have rarely gotten on with.

 

I really enjoy how the DLC hasn't fragmented their player base. People who want to unlock operators can do so without having to pay. Even looking at how far the game has come in terms of updates. It's been really satisfying to see the growth of this game. I never grew up with the Counter-Strike community as I was far too young to play, but I imagine this is the closest thing we'll get to for our current generation.

I don't know if I've lost interest in the FPS genre as a whole, but I couldn't get into the new Doom :/

 

Doom actually managed to reinvigorate my interest in the FPS genre, after years of not really caring about it.

Did you guys enjoy the multiplayer? I felt like it was an unnecessary tack on to ensure that consumers weren't going to complain about the game's price tag. I just remember playing it for about an hour and thinking it felt rushed. Probably just my opinion..

 

MP was bad, but that campaign. Definitely one of the all-time greats.

 

Thankfully the campaign wasn't just great it was also pretty long so I didn't feel bad not getting into the mp at all.

 

Yeah, the multiplayer isn't very good (which is a shame considering how fantastic the shooting in the game is), but the single player is long and filled with little secrets and such to search out, I was perfectly satisfied with just that.

 

Yeah I've heard plenty of good things about it. I'm pretty bad at it though. So, you know. I think I'll benefit more from watching than playing haha

 

Oh hey the Amnesia games are on ps4 now. Awesome, have never played them and always wanted to

 

DOOM was dope. I love that the game basically starts with you ripping off an arm.

So I'm pretty much all caught up on my Nintendo stuff, so I'm planning on getting some PS4 games. I haven't been following the system very closely so I need some recommendations please.
To help with the suggestions:
GTA 5 is the only game I own.
Didn't have a PS3 so remakes are fine.
Looking for Single Player games.
Not a fan of Western RPGs.
