I didn't want to credit the local forecast to that, but seriously. I swear it's been in the 80s here since late January.

 

i mean thats more or less what most of the weirdo weather patterns of the last few years can be directly attributed to, now in conjunction with el nino conditions etc.

It's cold. I don't like this shit.

I had been pretty warm where I'm at the past couple of weeks.

I still can't feel my toes and I've been inside for 15 minutes. Stupid cold.

 

My car door has windows that go down when you open it. It was not able to do that today. Seriously thought I was going to break the door.

 

I've always figured the cold is easier to manage. Oh, it's cold? Put on another sweater and you're fine.
When it's an oven outside, there's no escaping it. God forbid your A/C goes out. knock on wood.

 

You should fix that.

Two days ago it was 10 degrees and sunny, but now it looks like mid-December out there

Which isn't too uncommon for where I live I suppose. It's just getting worse with all the climate change.

I've been doing that cuz I'm not used to the cold, but it gets to the point where you're juggling 3 jackets and you have to take them all off and carry them when you're inside because the college has the heat on. Add that up with the books I gotta carry and it's an inconvenience.

Autumn weather is where it's at. The appropriate type of cold.

 

Yeah, you're right. The only time I've been in serious cold was as a visitor. I'll still take single digits over 110.

Hopefully we can all agree on autumn.

I don't mind any temperature per se. I just hate other conditions. (Rain, wind, humidity)

Echoing this. The cold is manageable, but once you add wind to the equation, you have me cursing the heavens.

 

We had a super mild winter this year and while it was much more pleasant than last year's weeks of 0 degrees before wind chill and consecutive huge snowstorms, I kind of missed those things because braving them made me feel badass tbh

 

I'm not advocating dangerously cold temps or the conditions that come with it. I'm just saying if prefer 90 degrees to 30 degrees, you're a cop.
