I have been tapering my drinking a lot and haven’t kept it stocked the last few months. Definitely drink a lot less now and trying to be more healthy this year. Might try to stick with getting a beer or two when going out to dinner or something (which doesn’t happen a lot) and if I need a drink at home go gin and diet tonic or seltzer.

We went to an open house today. LOVED the house. Sorta the perfect house I would be seeking.

Like wtf you can’t list for 575k and have legit junk yard as the backyard.

 

Ask them for discount to cover the cost of cleaning that shit up.

 

Back in the day (five years ago) you could make them clean that up as a condition of closing but now there are ten other people willing to overpay and deal with that mess afterwords

 

Yeah if we were seriously considering we’d have to put in an offer way lower, but the problem with MA is every house sells way OVER list price haha

Just looked up the house’s history. They had a fire 4 years ago and the father died, and they had to completely rebuild the house.

At that price, definitely wild, but, its also the kind of thing that will scare off a lot of buyers but actually cost a couple thousand to get rid of yet save you $5-10k or more on the house. Can even write it into the offer that you'll pay as long as its done by closing. Perfect time now too, you can reseed the whole lawn in 2 months
