Speaking of scene bands that were only popular for like 2 years that I saw once in 2004/2005 at either Warped Tour or Taste of Chaos and then forgot about once I got into Radiohead and Elliott Smith… how bout Hidden In Plain View

 

Maybe on the technicality that they did things like tour, be a band and release more than one album

 

idk those bands but i hope they had a lot of fun playing music

 

I went to my local record store and I was like hey guys you got that new Mac Miller vinyl?

they told me they haven’t even ordered it yet and they are the best record store in town

I hate my local record stores :(

 

I like Wolves in the Throne room, good semi-modern take on a genre that was initially invented by a Neo Nazi.

Weird liking black metal when Burzum is the origin of it but Wolves does it really well

 

Skill issue I love my local rec stores

Soundgarden in Baltimore and Som Records in DC are elite

used to love Crooked Beat when they were in DC but haven’t been since they moved to Alexandria. I still want to.

 

Saw HIPV last summer. Was fun.
