Do you not understand the difference between a legal trial and public opinion? Like, do I have to explain the most elementary concepts to you? Do you really hold the belief that if someone was never charged in a legal court of law for an action that what they did was not wrong? Do you really think that the legal system is the single arbitrator of truth or punishment? Do you really think "going away to not play music for a bit and some people online think what you did was really fucking shitty" is some how a conviction or punishment? My initial response was solely that the scene has forgiven people in bands did way worse and i don't like double standards. Do i agree on him grooming minors? obviously not. But who are we kidding, you are in the scene for decades you well aware how these bands operate (and how 16-17 years old girls engaging fangirl mode), so it was hypocrisy bashing one of your favorite bands in 2017 for something he did decades earlier (and banning my old account for having a different opinion), and it is hypocrisy today as well.
