I fully reject the reductionist argument of there being "two groups" and the definition used to define them. But I will forever not understand the argument that one can only make money doing this. Is it the easiest path to making more money? Yes. But maybe the consequence of the actions (and what still bothers me: never saying a word to the people harassing the women that came forward), is you don't get the easiest path to making money anymore. Answer emails like the rest of us or something. Hell, go ghost-write even. There are plenty of ways to make money, even still in the music industry if you really think that's the ONLY talent and capability someone has. So, this argument that somehow by saying "yeah, this sucks" is denying someone the ability to make money, I continue to reject outright.

I find this sort of shit so incredible strange. This ... gloating as though you're somehow doing something brave and amazing by listening to a band? Like, why? It's just ... weird behavior.

If you can read his post, and read the accusations, and still pretend "he didn't do it," your level of cognitive dissonance is reaching dangerous levels.
