Since I belong to group 2, I was labeled as a pervert, a pedophile defender, and it was even suggested that it was concerning if I were to coach youth sports.

People are rightfully passionate about condemning sexual abusers, but resorting to personal insults when confronted with a different opinion is elitist and counterproductive. If you can’t see that absolutism hinders healthy discussion, reevaluate your stance.

 

Time passing without doing a single thing to atone for what you didn’t doesn’t mean jack shit.

 

I'm sure you can recognize though based on SO many of the posts in here, a lot of people are not coming here to engage in good faith and that causes a lot of confusion when it comes to having these conversations over and over and over and over again. I do feel for people who actually want to have a conversation about this but trolls make it VERY hard to tell the difference

I know in this group there are a lot of Mental Health Professionals, but it seems like there are very few lawyers. In America there is a such thing called Presumption of Innocence. Jesse was accused but never proven guilty. If anyone is to blame, it's the parents for not watching over their teenagers. Y'all could b at risk of defamation of character.
