I'm going to finally order my copy today from Amazon. With Prime, tax, and same-day shipping it's only $41 and change. Great deal!

Now I have a couple of hours to decide between versions. My heart had originally said Moon but I like the legendary for Sun... Maybe?? I'm still not even sure. How am I supposed to choose!!!

 

Just caught my first shiny. Found a shiny Spearow near the Pokecenter on Route 2.

 

I went ahead and bought Moon! It's supposed to arrive by 9pm tonight so I'm super excited to play.

 

I like that the comb is a Tyranitar.

 

Just got the fishing rod and decide to try it out. Second cast pulls up my first gen 7 shiny...a Magikarp.

 

Snagged a bunch of genesect codes if anyone needs one

So do you only need items to heal status conditions during battles?

Also I'm so glad they finally let you chose to switch out a party Pokémon when you catch a new one rather than automatically sending it to the computer.

Edit: But you still can't get mystery gifts sent straight to the PC even though you're getting them in a pokemon center...

I've spent the past two hours trying to catch a Bagon off of route 3. Stupid 1% encounter rate.

 

I do :(

 

alolan diglett took me forever to catch, every time id get its health down it would bring in an ally

I only just completed my first trial but I'm a bit bummed about how almost every Pokemon I'm seeing is from the first gen

 

so far.

 

Just realized that only female Salandits evolve, and it's a 1 in 8 chance that a wild one is female...
