I guess I do tend to point out the flaws in stuff like “average yards of separation” but I’m not trying to say it’s useless just that it’s one angle of many potential angles that all have flaws individually but paint a clearer picture together

with composite numbers like DVOA and EPA you can’t really do that and that’s what I don’t like, you’re just being asked to trust that all the factors have already been considered and weighed

I do listen to content creators who frequently cite EPA in their analysis of the game, but they will also cite DVOA and various success rates in addition to the film which makes it all come together much more than looking at any one individual stat as an end-all-be-all

I think it’s one of those things where we agree more than we think we do and I just “have to nitpick” each stat and you just “have to humble me” about it and it becomes a vicious cycle lol
