We should also have music out before aiming for festivals because that’s the main way you get booked on those; they don’t care as much about resume and draw for an event that’s already gonna draw well. i used spotify for years and switched to apple music for like two years and back to spotify and then went back to apple like a day later. it isn’t fake. it is like … unavoidably obviously worse quality. you can notice it from virtually any speaker type imaginable. they compress the fuck out of songs in a way no other one does.
