I found out yesterday through The Big Picture Podcast that David Harbour and Lily Allen split up and that kind of made me sad.

Wow I looked it up and he was on Raya while they were still married. Smdh.

 

Lily Allen also gave her dog away because it ate her passport so maybe they’re trash i dunno

 

What we should all be worried about is whatever new look Rodgers is going for

 

While I am extremely bummed to see High & Mighty go, 500 episodes is a hell of a run from one of the best, funniest conversationalists. Curious if he's starting up something else.

I mean if you haven’t listened to Actionboyz it’s even better

I've dabbled with episodes about movies I've seen and really enjoyed it. I don't know if I'd get much out of the episodes with movies I've never seen.

 

It depends. I enjoy at least half watching the movies before I listen but the best parts of the show are the stories they tell/their rapport. I feel like H&M can be hit or miss depending on the guest. These are all great because they (aside from like 3-4 early eps) never have guests

 

I haven’t seen 3/4ths of the movies Actionboyz cover and it’s one of my favorite podcasts. For a 3 hour podcast they only talk about the movie for like 30 minutes.

 

Their episode on “Sudden Death” is so good.

Also enjoyed his “Raised By TV” podcast with Lauren Lapkus in its early run.

 

I heard they split through a Ringer movie podcast, so obviously not paying that close attention. That’s not great or apparently why they split. That’s as deep as I’m willing to get.

 

Big fan of Lapkus and Gabrus, big fan of that era of TV, thought the podcast was really bad. Confusingly so

 

I thought it was good in its early run and then tapered off. It was kind of a case of both of them playing it safe, so I can see not liking it. Either way, no way to revisit it since it got in the Stitcher void.

Listening to NNF and not surprised Jimmy hates nosteratu but Garron not liking it makes zero sense. Fake ass horror fan.

I love NNF but they all have the worst taste in movies

 

My favorite NNF-ism is when Jimmy calls out other shows or tours or groups that are all white guys, often in front of a non-white/non-male guest, but never follows it up by acknowledging the makeup of the podcast he is on. The general ego-centrist “we’re liberals, we’re the good guys, we don’t need to look at ourselves” vibe is the cherry on top of the really bad music and movie takes. That said, I listen and pay for premium. Lol.

Their politics are pretty whack though, still thinking Hillary was a good candidate is laughable.

his obsession with Jimmy Dore and inability to not loop everything back to Trump is also infuriating.
