That's why these things need all in pricing. EVERYTHING you buy online has some sort of fee or multiple fees attached to it, they're just buried in the cost.

That Portland date is the same day as Arch Enemy/Fit For An Autopsy and like right down the street. Probably going to affect attendance.

Ticket prices reallllly making me think that my usual 15ish shows a year will now be about 7 shows.

Lake Street Dive is playing the same room as Static-X? They played MSG last year so either that's a significant underplay for them or the MSG date was a fluke.

I do uber eats 2-3 nights a week solely to fund shows/tattoos/dispensary trips

Genuine question and obviously not to pry into your personal life but is that good supplemental income? Additionally, from a tipping standpoint, is it better to just tip your delivery person in cash vs via credit card on whatever app I use (as I assume that goes partially to the restaurant)?

Way off topic in terms of tour date discussion but I've always been curious about this.

Yeah I’m only getting to double digit shows by investing in small bands and going to DIY shows

As far as I'm aware we keep 100% of the tip money. It's easier in app since most people just have me leave the food at their doorstep, but cash would be nicer since my 1099/reported income would be smaller come tax time.

For me at least, it's ideal for supplemental income, the hourly wage averages out to around $18-20/hr (higher in winter - made $120 in 3.5 hours one evening when it was snowing, and lower in summer), typically driving from 6pm-9pm after work. I'm in a small city (~100k population) in Maryland, I'd assume higher wages in more urban areas and lower in more rural. I enjoy driving, gives me some alone to time to catch up on new music too.

Wow. That is a killer lineup for a last minute benefit show. Hope they're able to raise a good bit of money with it.

    Things have changed.

Not sure about that. It's all in alphabetical order and the press release says more details on who is playing where is coming soon.

    idk man

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, the day Olivia Rodrigo headlines Gov Ball is the first one that sold out. Fastest I've ever seen a Gov Ball day sell out. It's going to be interesting seeing what else she does this year and how those festivals go, especially with how big those crowds are going to be.

My Gov Ball coverage is finished, I know I'm one of the few who brings it up/cares that deeply about it but it's nice to have a little forum to mention it in.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Glad I got my Turnover tickets days ago. Boston show already basically sold out. GA completely gone with some straggler spots in the mezz going for around $200 atm, all platinum (I got 3 GA tickets for this show around $140 total for comparison).
