Agree on Prime 4. If that isn't a launch title after all this time, just fucking cancel it. lol

I had a pre-order on amazon the day they went up and I still had it sitting there until a year ago. Only reason it got cancelled was because I missed that I had to approve the millionth date change.

 

They should keep working on it so I can do the Dr. Manhattan meme.

I just want Retro to release a game again.

 

I didn't get a Switch til the Lite came out. I'll def get this day one. Never did that with a console. I did do that with GBA, DS and 3DS though

 

How bad do we think the bots and resellers will be?

 

They shouldn’t be as bad since this isn’t releasing around the holidays and Nintendo will have a large amount ready for the launch. Some people may not get it and will have to buy it through a scalper on eBay, but I don’t think we’ll have a problem.

 

I wasn’t going to buy a Switch, but I wanted to play BOTW. I found a store that somehow had preorders available and ended up purchasing it at midnight.

Not interested in a midnight launch for Switch 2, but I’ll try to preorder a copy to pick up after work.

 

Given Nintendo’s company culture, they must be seething right? They must be whipping their lawyers into an absolute bloodthirsty frenzy lol

 

Honestly Nintendo shouldn’t be surprised. They’ve allowed factories to start production on Switch 2 back in the fall to make sure they had a bunch ready at launch. Which is why all the leaks have been appeared.

They should have released a hardware trailer back in October similar to what they did with Switch 1, but they knew it would hurt their Christmas sales.

Now they have to show their hardware after it’s been leaked.

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if Nintendo has a Switch 2 tv spot during the Super Bowl either. They had one for the first switch in 2017. No better way to let hundreds of millions know about the switch 2.

 

Kinda losing hope for tomorrow, wouldn’t they have announced the announcement today ?

I don’t think there will be an announcement. It’s only going to a hardware trailer. They’ll probably just release it without any prior announcement since it’s not a direct or showcase.

 

At this point I’d be ok with just a simple post stating the release date

 

Direct being April 2nd is insane

Finally. I’m assuming that was Mario Kart 9. Easy day 1 grab. I’m assuming a summer launch with the direct not being until April

 

I think I'm finally in a good spot in life where I can day one a console for the first time. Then I can just jailbreak my old Switch for funsies.

 

Shame they went with that for the name but it does literally just look like a sleeker Switch. Expected something more wild and unorthodox from them.
