I obviously have no idea but only guess would be since dgd are Ronnie defenders and he took them out maybe he knows people in their camp. $3700 per show, which it would equal out to with the 27 dates does seem a tad bit high for 4K-8k venues for the second billed band.

 

I have seen Phoebe first then boygenius and Julien last year but Lucy is the only one I had not seen live solo wise yet

 

I saw the whole boygenius play the Ryman once and Julian headlined. Insane to see the trajectory.

So... it seems Jesse Lacey will play a private show at the end of the month in benefit of the California Fire Foundation. But it seems its by invite only as a code is needed, people on Reddit found the code but they got refunded and the code was changed.

$150 for 2 tickets with a face value of $55. Idk how they justify a ~30% markup for "fees" but it's enraging.
