Has anybody seen Ultra Q or Stateside live before? They both sound great recorded but... I'm seeing Anxious at SITW Fest here at the start of February. So trying to sort out if I want to go to that headliner or not.

 

FWIW I saw Hot Alice last month and they said that they have a show with OWTH at Basecamp in Lisle, IL in April. It might be the first date but I'm not sure. I have a feeling @troyplaysbass will know.

 

Stateside opened our leg of the Anxious/OSC/Koyo tour last year and they were good!

 

If these are the venues Lucy’s playing, imagine what venues Phoebe will play the next time she tours

 

I saw stateside on the Bearings/Broadside tour. They ruled but their singer didn’t make it into Canada so Jordan from Like Pacific sang/read the lyrics off his phone for them.

I would be shocked if some of these didn't get multiple dates with the gaps in the routing. Speaking of multiple dates, Phoebe will probably do at least two nights at each arena she plays.

 

Oh Phoebe will definitely be headline and playing arenas when her new albums is released which I am guessing 2026

 

Looks like the discourse around the venues for that Poison the Well tour were a little off. Seems to be doing pretty okay. I'm sure the support is doing some heavy lifting here but... It's a pretty strong package when you think about the Venn diagram of fans for each band.

Feel dumb for bailing on the Lucy show I had a ticket for on her last tour seeing as how she now probably doesn't even need to come back to this market since she is probably content with doing 2 nights in these bigger venues in bigger areas.

She's the only one of the boygenius trio I haven't seen live but funny enough the only time I've seen Julien was opening up for Kevin Devine and they only time I saw Phoebe was opening for Sylvan Esso. Times have changed haha.

As someone in a very strange cross section, the fact this is the same weekend as United Blood for me blows major chunks.

 

Still blows my mind that Lucy was the opener on the first boygenius tour...how far she has come since then is crazy!

 

Friday seems pretty fun

 

Lucy is the only member of the boys that I have not seen live solo wise yet!!
