I am curious what size venues she will be touring in (tour announcement tomorrow). I imagine with the Boygenius bump she will be in some pretty big rooms.

Hopefully it will be the same line up for the UK dates, I imagine the venues Lucy will be playing over here will be Birmingham Academy, Manchester O2 Apollo and Brixton Academy in London and those venues are 3 to 4,900 cap rooms

Based on MGM music hall it'll either be Salt Shed or Aragon for her in Chicago. Or maybe we see her at one of the larger theaters downtown

 

How big capacity wise r those leaked dates so far?

 

MGM Music Hall is 5,500 capacity.

 

Yeah MGM is essentially a bigger House of Blues. A good size venue for her considering boygenius was playing the Garden.

 

Oh that boygenius bump in popularity for their solo careers is real!! Oh I definitely see Lucy similar capacity venues in the UK once it's announced... As along tickets don't go onsale the same day as the NIN tour or her UK dates r not on the same day as the rumoured NIN UK tour!! I would be gutted big time

 

She already sold out a 5k venue in NYC pre-BG reunion so I’m very curious to see where she plays here. April is too early for outdoors so I feel like it has to be Radio City?

 

Either radio city or it's later at central park or prospect park since she's doing that February show

It’s just insane because I saw her in 2019 at a 1,000 capacity venue and the show never even sold out. To go from that to where we are now is crazy (in a good way).

 

Suppose there's also the possibility of multiple dates at Thalia Hall like Julien.

Those r big venues, wouldn't be surprised if they add more nights after those original dates sell out.. I just hope the UK dates will be either July or August or around end of September onwards!!
