I thought it was odd too so I checked into it. Fred announcement coming soon is what I heard

Yeah the three stars totally mean something. That's why one is so much bigger. Because Adam's a control freak penis.

How funny is it gonna be in 2030 when Taking Back Sunday is just Fred?

What if Taking Back Sunday took Sunday, lost Sunday, but then took it back again? It would be Story Of The Year.

I mean, if they play One Eighty By Summer, I’ll still see them live.

Ughhhh. The OR date is at McMenamin's Edgefield, which is an amphitheater. I saw them open for Third Eye Blind there a few years back and waited in line for merch while they played, cause they sounded terrible. In hindsight, i don't even know why i purchased their tour shirt there. TEB made up for it, but yeah definitely skipping this since it's outdoors.

Mitch Register (their touring drummer) reposted the tour announcement so I assume that means he’ll be continuing with them for the foreseeable future

Is he a noticeably different drummer than Mark? I haven't heard any recent performances

Well he doesn’t constantly look pissed behind the drum kit like Mark so there’s that. I like his style, he really seems to enjoy playing with them.

  15. For a start his name has one more letter than Mark and the remaining members, so that’s already a significant change

He was a really solid drummer when I saw them last summer

I think he did a fairly good job if he had to learn all those songs in a short amount of time (plus the entirety of TAYF and then the slightly deeper cuts he learned for the holiday shows). Hard to compare somebody who helped write the songs and has been playing them for 25 years to a guy who probably had a couple weeks notice to learn a whole setlist worth of them.

Seems to be more of a country musician

    Things have changed.

Mark is a great player. Just always hits hard as hell and gave them a real backbone. No opinions on the temp guy.

His name, Mitch Register, feels like a country name too. I won’t elaborate.

Just spun 152 for the first time in a couple months, and, yeah, it's real good. Still bummed it's only 31 mins!

Personally think the length is perfect and that attributes to how great it is. Absolutely no fluff or filler.

Or just Shaun playing the bass lines of every song by himself

  25. Why do I picture him starting a show with Liar's intro, waiting for the rest of the band to hop on stage... except no one else does and he ends up stuck on a loop
