So naturally he was subbed off and we got a straight red early in the second, haha.

    It's all hell.

  4. Would be a pretty big moment for an 18 year old to start away to Arsenal for a NLD but Bergvall has to start Wednesday. I’d like to see a midfield of Maddison Bergvall and Bissouma with Kulu at RW.

Tbh you could play anyone. We’re going to be missing Saka, Jesus, White, Timber, Nwaneri, Joeginho, and Calafiori. Plus, you just got to rest a bunch of players for most of that tie, while we just did 120 minutes against Man United, and our confidence is SO low now. So, I honestly think you’ll scrape a win, and I worry about how the fans react if that happens.

Over 180 normal time minutes in the last two games vs Newcastle & United, we had over 6.5xG and scored one goal. So we are creating chances, but a lot of it is that we just aren’t clinical enough at all. And yet, there’ll be no reinforcements.

Comfortably the worst I’ve felt about Arsenal and the team in about two/three years tbh. But it is what it is.

  6. Saw someone tweet this yesterday, but Tuchel winning the CL with a front line of Werner Havertz and Mount is pretty wild in hindsight lol

  7. Great news. And I’ve read Romero and VDV should be back by end of the month.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Imagine losing Kvaratskhelia and replacing him with Werner lmao

  10. I think we’re getting a 3-way swap

    PSG gets Kvaratskhelia
    Napoli gets Werner
    Tottenham gets Kolo Muani

  11. Just realized a scheduling disaster coming up

Feb 6 - away to Liverpool Cup semi
Feb 8 - away to Villa FA Cup

picking up nkunku would be a nice little refresh on the wing and make it easier to get rid of sane/gnabry/coman, but I hate the idea of losing Tel to make this happen. The other three need to go and Tel needs more consistent minutes.

Damn. Only just got back to something approaching his best following his last one, now he’s done the other knee. Just feel bad for him on a personal level.

Arsenal forwards dropping like flies. Good chance Havertz gets a ban for choking Ugarte too, though that's probably addition by subtraction at this point.

I know Havertz is a punchline right now following his 0/10 performance, but he’s been good for us overall.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Havertz seems to be one of those players who nobody notices when they're doing a good job and gets absolutely hammered when they've had a bad run. He also seems to often get beaten up for not being good enough as a striker, which isn't really his main position, to my understanding.

In fairness, I was joking. I know he's generally been okay for Arsenal outside of recent form.

Yeah, basically how I feel about him.

He has seven goals and one assist in 17 PL appearances, like he’s not Haaland, but he’s also not Timo Werner/Anthony. He offers a lot outside of G/A.

I also think he’s a confidence player and after the Newcastle game he seems to have spiralled a bit. It’s a shame but hopefully the club realise they absolutely need a striker and expecting him to continue his form of last year was wishful thinking.

We also need to really show him tomorrow that the fans are behind him.

  19. Spurs tried to get Tel in the Kane deal and then again last summer. Bayern was a hard no both times. I’ll be mad if they now send him off to Chelsea.

Erm, weren’t there rumours Google were going to sponsor Spurs’ stadium lmao? This is outrageous if so.

  22. I haven’t seen those rumors but we’ve been linked to various companies for the stadium name for years lol

  24. It will be funny when Google does end up buying the naming rights and fans are outraged because of this ad lol
