I’ve thought every year since this project started she would have released the Christmas material. It’s free money just out there not getting swallowed up.
    Forgot about those.

Mentioning "Tell Me" again real quick.

It's fun listening to early unreleased songs, like "Tell Me", and basically knowing exactly when she wrote it.

"Crush" by Mandy Moore came out in 2001, 2 years before Debut came out. Of course a 12-14 year old girl who writes songs about love and such would have been inspired by that song, and it definitely shows in "Tell Me." The verses are almost identical, vocal melody-wise.

Looks like the song has been scrubbed from YouTube. It could be cool if Taylor does include it on Debut TV and features Mandy Moore on it. I could see her including features of artists that inspired her in that era, kinda like she did with Speak Now TV vault tracks. Mandy Moore, Michelle Branch, etc would be fun to see.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I think there is another unreleased track that basically copies the vocal melody of "Goodbye To You" by Michelle Branch (2001), and the chorus of "Need You Now" sounds very similar to "Tomorrow" by Lillix (2003.)

Oh for sure. I forgot to make the joke when that came out. So here we are! I’m sure Taylor wants that buried deep, deep into the ground.

Is Sweeter Than Fiction (Taylor's Version) ever coming to streaming? Figured Target had a timed exclusive that would have ended by now. Similar to Hits Different off Midnights.

i wondered about this too. i was able to find a good quality RIP to add to my copy on Apple Music, but would love an official digital copy (i have the Target pressing so i already have it on vinyl)

I guess I’ll do the same as far as having a copy on Apple Music in the meantime (or forever if it doesn’t get an official digital release for whatever reason).

But it’s good to know I’m not alone in wanting to fork over a dollar and change for an official download of a song that’s already recorded and been out there on another format for well over a year now. Talk about easy money between streams and downloads.
