Doctors requiring PCR tests for paxlovid when all the states did away with PCR testing sites and now you cant guarentee getting test results in 24 hours like before is so dumb. But they do say you can start it within 5 days of symptoms starting so you could still ahve time.

Personally I'd take it anyway even if I got to day 6 or 7 because I'm a freak and have read way too much about it persisting in the body lol. Get in there and kill it all, paxlovid.

Yeah covid fucks with your thinking so much. But yeah for me I just called my doctor and said I tested positive twice on rapids and asked for a script and they sent it for me. I did get a PCR to confirm second time just to make sure because I wanted it in my official medical records in case I had any long term issues. But I felt so bad because they don't even let you do the PCR test yourself in the drive thru anymore, I had to go into Walgreens and and the pharmacist had to pull my mask down and do the test herself. So dumb.

 

before i found a test buried in my closet i called CVS to ask if they could sell me a rapid test thru the pharmacy drive thru and they said no you have to come in. even the curbside pickup isnt literally curbside so id have to come in lmfao

Question for anyone who knows: when people say lithium mining can be damaging to the environment, is there something special or specific about lithium mining that makes it extra toxic or damaging or etc, or is it more just like mining any other mineral where the process of mining obviously will effect the immediate environment where the mine is, danger of chemical leaks used in the mining process, etc? Like is a lithium mine any more damaging to the environment than a coal mine or a rock quarry or etc?
