Ooof sorry to hear you had that on Christmas I had covid a few Christmasses ago... totally sucked.

 

Hope anyone on here from the area is okay and stays safe. Terrified of what news we’ll wake up to coming from this.

Norovirus is no joke - wash your hands more than normal.

 

With a 5 year old in public school I just don’t think there’s any avoiding it. At this point I’d rather schedule a time to be sick with it rather than have it threatening constantly.

 

In the past when I've gotten it, it was usually just puking for me, but on christmas day it was coming out of both ends. Just awful.

My poor 5 year old son had never had the squirts before so he kept shitting himself thinking it was farts, and not understanding why it was liquid, thought he was having pee accidents lol

 

I got it 2 years ago and it was 24 hours similar to food poisoning. For my daughter though it lasted 3 days. Had to replace a lot of blankets and cushions :(

 

Opposite for us here. Son had it and was fine within a day. I was out of commission for 3 days and wasn't really great on the 4th either lol

I’ve had what I assume to have been norovirus twice in the last 5 years and both times were from a cruise I went on - the first time happened the day I got back. The second time while I was on the ship. Only lasted about a day thankfully, but a very miserable day.

(despite that, would you believe I’m still going on another cruise this year?)

Yeah I called my doctors office to tell them last time and they just sent a script to walgreens that I could pick up through drive thru lol

might be due to lack of labs now that i research. gonna call back because if i need labs and theres turnaround time it might be too late to take it
