today it’s to describe north Wilmington/claymont to people in a way that makes sense for anyone not living in it. It’s a suburban area that operates a lot like a small town. Very much an “everyone knows someone or knows someone that knows someone” type place. But just the sheer amount of available businesses to shop at makes it very much not a small town haha
