I listened to roughly 57 albums / EPs 5 times or more to qualify for ranking them by how much I listened to each (thanks last.fm!). I then reordered things until I had a top 10 that reflects my feelings of what came out this year.

I think I have some glaring omissions based off of other lists and there are certainly some albums I haven't given enough time to rank them properly. Casey was undoubtedly my favourite new discovery of 2024 and I also really enjoyed a deep dive in to the Movements back catalogue.
