Panic shopping is the best. And since the Steven Universe games got removed with no prior warning or explanation, I'm feeling extra paranoid.

 

I think 9 aged the best of all the PS1-era FFs, but it is VERY slow (in terms of actual combat) unless you mod it a bit. Pretty easy to mod though, and definitely a game worth playing.

 

How easy is it to break FF8? It's the only one I've ever started and not finished. I'd play it again just to cheese it. Remaster is on sale for like $8

 

Pretty easy with a guide. The most annoying part is making sure the triple triad rules follow you to the next area

I'm going to say that The Stanley Parable is a fantastic example of something that could not be done in any other medium. It is a video game ass video game.

I will not be taking counter-arguments at this time.

 

Is there a goodreads/Letterboxd equivalent for video games?

 

SSKTJL is fun (if you already have an interest in and knowledge of DC characters). I've only played the base game and only tried Harley tho

Stanley Parable is great definitely play it if you haven't and this deluxe edition has some cool stuff if you've played before too

A friend of mine walked me through it one time and it basically boils down to using Triple Triad to bend the game over your knee. He had it down to a science practically.

there's a (brand new) demo you can try. it didn't grab me but it seems very nice.

 

I do appreciate Mesc for the recommendation on final fantasy 15 but I might add it as the next game I play.

I just spent like nearly 60 hours on far cry 6 so I kinda wanted a shorter game to play and I just bought the mafia trilogy so I might do the first mafia as a little quick game. How long to beat say it’s about a 10-20 hour game which is perfect length.

 

I did ffxv in less than 30 hours and I took my sweet time with it.

I loved the demo too. Will pick it up like in March or April once I’m through my FF + secret Santa gauntlet.

the only complaint people had with the iOS version was that it was too hard. That’s no longer the case.
