The highest tier of PS Plus would be worth it if they had a Classics selections worth a shit. Sly Cooper trilogy is a step in the right direction though.

 

I got Stalker 2 and Indy giving me sad puppy eyes every time I turn on my Xbox and I feel bad for the poor things but I can’t stop grinding Zombies in Bloops, I need an intervention. You all have permission to film said intervention and the chaos that follows it.

 

Built a new PC yesterday. Very happy with it. Had the most awful luck though, a small screw fell into the PSU and blocked the fan without me realizing, preventing the PC from staying on for more than a second. Went through everything else thinking I did something wrong on install. Nope. Just a single stray screw.

11:30 at night, was getting ready to surrender and take it to a shop. Decided to try to take the PSU out, and it wouldn't come out because of the screw. A true miracle.

 

That would have been very embarrassing if you took it to a shop. They would have taken 5 minutes and called you back and this is the exact look on their face when you show up:

 

hot take: a regular PC shop might not even have the procedures in place to find such an issue. a shutdown after a few seconds can come from overheating, faulty ram, a busted motherboard...

Weird question: I plan on trying to get into wrestling when it comes to Netflix. How is the latest PS5 WWE game? Does it have a good lineup of characters that are relevant to the current storylines? I “added it to my library” when it was free a couple months ago on PS Plus.

 

My best friend has been incessantly bothering me to play it. I’m not a big wrestling guy admittedly but he swears by that game so I think it’s good from that perspective honestly

 

The Finals still keeps pulling me back in. Just a fun 45 min blast daily on the Steam Deck helps take my mind off life.

 

My biggest complaint about The Finals is the tech is cool but it needs to be implemented into a Battlefield clone to compete with it since the series is currently passed out on the floor. Like you poached all these devs to make your cool tech demo game, use them then.

 

I actually have high hopes for the next BF with Vince Zampella in charge.

 

far cry 6 has a mission where it tells you to deliver stuff to 7 different locations all based off photos they show you. the problem is you could completely never explore half the locations it tells you and it gives no indicator of where they are.

you just gotta guess and discover them eventually

The Veilguard had its first difficulty spike but it seems that was the second to last mission. Was intense too. Lost Harding and possibly Balleria(?) though they’re saying she’s been taken I however have no memory of her leaving the mission or dying. Also weird but effective Varric sixth sense death twist. Seems I’m about to be on the final mission.

 

Rolled credits on Indiana. God the water level sucked

 

Sukhothai? Getting around in the boat was tiresome, but I loved the temples and ruins and shit in that level

 

They need to go back to a modern setting honestly, that’s their bread and butter.
