We got nearly 90 minutes left for 2 matches. Pretty crazy.

 

Will Ospreay looks like my fighter would after a single round on hard mode in UFC4. Just out there mashing X trying to keep the eyes from closing

 

I hear the Battle Cry under the devil’s sky hopes and dreams will never die Are you ready to go? Are you ready for this?

 

Gotta imagine there's an angle for after this match or the main event, but, surely they let these dudes go 30+ easy, right?

Like, neither dude is even gonna need a rest hold for the first 20+ mins. And we're gonna get "Roman babyface 2016" level selling from below from Ospreay for the first 10-15mins

 

Great crowd for this

 

Thinking how that SI MOTY list is 6 of 10 Ospreay matches (and they inexplicably didnt include Ospreay/Fletcher), and he may well be dropping 2 matches tonight worthy of the other spots.

He's gonna have the best year any wrestler has ever had, and he's gonna be wrestling largely for mid-card belts

Ospreay having the energy to stall that Styles clash to sell his tireness is un-fucking-real.

 

That might be the hardest Ive ever heard Tony mark out in a non-Sting match

This is a genuine New Japan big main event style match put on by an American company and thats why I watch AEW.

 

What a fucking final 3 minutes of that match. Easily Okada’s best match in AEW and Osperay caps off my favorite year any wrestler has had in recent memory.

 

I mean, those last two matches were literally fucking perfect. And both losers should be top champs come Y'All In. And the winners should be the top heels of the company all year long

Okada had a fury in that final sequence he hasnt had for a second in his AEW run. Just send him to the fucking moon

Osperay is proof you can lose and still be over as fuck. I love him so much. Dude needs to have the title at some point this year.
