Hey all,

So it's been a month since I drove down to South Florida from New Jersey to get my cat and bring her up here. I was really anxious about the trip up with her as she has only known the condo she has been in her entire life, rarely have even had to bring her to the vet or anything. I gave her some over the counter medicine to calm cats down before we took the trip and WOW it worked, she was SO GOOD the entire trip.

I ended up driving the entire trip in one day, 20 hours, it somehow wasn't that bad. I just knew I didnt want to deal with transporting her in and out of a hotel when she was doing so good being in the crate I got her in the car.

Shes been here for a month and she has transitioned better than I could have even imagined. She has gotten comfortable with my mom already and has already claimed her favorite spots in the apartment. I could not be happier that she is up here I can't believe I went 2 years without her, I am so much happier to have her with me.

Going missing outside for months has made her never want to be outside again

 

Accidentally developed a new bedtime routine with my cat, Nebula. She sometimes spots spiders on my wall and so she likes to run around looking and meowing at night. So I started picking her up and carrying her around the apartment to look at all the walls and ceilings from the better vantage point of my arms. She loves it. Just purrs and looks around hoping to see a spider she can have.

 

Heat on, blanket on, and laying on the recliner with the kitty. Great end to a long work day.

 

I love this little dude so much he is a cutie.

Anyone know why meow mix tender favorites wet food is sold out like everywhere the last couple of weeks? Nothing in Walmart, and only giant expensive packs on Amazon. It's bizarre

 

I took over as president of a shelter last year so about time I share some of the shelter cats.
