Minkus returned in Girl Meets World as a successful entrepreneur married to that girl, Jennifer, who tried to break up Cory and Shawn in high school. Minkus did well for himself.

Neijuan is the Chinese term for “involution”, a concept from sociology that refers to a society that can no longer evolve, no matter how hard it tries. Applied to the individual, it means that no matter how hard someone works, progress is impossible.

China’s leaders have made it clear that they don’t want the idea of neijuan to catch on more than it already has. In December, top economic policymakers gathered for the annual Central Economic Work Conference, which sets the national economic agenda. According to the readout of the closed-door meeting, the cadres pledged to “rectify ‘involutionary’ competition”.

The latest data shows that the jobless rate for urban 16-24-year-olds is 17.1%

I’m hanging out in Brooklyn the next couple of days and if Luigi had just played his cards right he could have never been identified.

This is my immediate boss; since I started in the job two years ago, he gets in around 9am, and then stays to about 8pm or 9pm every single day, all in the pursuit (I'm pretty sure) of getting promoted to Partner. However, in the Partner vote this year he wasn't nominated, which I'm sure bummed him out a lot. All the time spent at the office, for nothing. He had his first kid in August, yet he keeps to the same schedule, eating dinner at work every day. Meaning he probably see's his kid 2 hours a day max, and never eats meals with his wife, except on weekends. Then at work he often just rambles around our department, speaking to us plebs about random subjects, sometimes sports related, just to make conversations I'm sure.

Man I'm glad I have a chill boss. Only demands 40 hours out of us, and if we have to take a half day or something for an appointment, he just says to make the time up over the week instead of using our time off balance

And his spouse likely has it worse. Being able to dick around in an office for 12 hours a day under self-righteous and self-important pretenses during one of the most difficult phases of early parenthood is a luxury they likely are not afforded.

Yep. EPA often does the opposite of their name. They protect industry more consistently than the environment
