Some games I have played recently:

Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest: These games were so punishing. The idea that someone with a full-time job and obligations would play these games is hard to believe; this kind of stuff was for kids with more free time than school or chores. With just one character, it is really close to impossible to get around some very stringent requirements to be at a certain level and to have acquired the next set of equipment before moving on. Xenoblade games are famous for throwing in an endgame monster in starting areas to let you know what will be coming next, but here even one wrong square will eliminate you. Weirdly, though, the decision to let you keep your progress but halve your amount of money is much better than losing everything from not saving.

Excitebike: By playing the NES Remix games and Nintendo World Championship, I had already seen just about all there is to offer here.

Dishonored: I was playing it "wrong" and just killing everybody and not learning about all the skills and magic, so I really only got to experience the game at its best around halfway. It is still very impressive, though, and having the game world respond to your actions feels really earned. The boat driver made me feel bad for being such a monster.

Borderlands 2: I didn't think it could get worse than the original, but they dialed up that type of humor that has mercifully died since then. It feels like the most Mountain Dew and Dorito's game ever made.

 

I’m barely touching the story of far cry 6 and I’m just doing everything side quest and there really is a lot to doooo.

My brother got me the G8 Galileo Type-C. Can see the number of games I complete in a year shooting way up with this, had a ton of fun trying out a bunch of Xbox and PC games handheld yesterday.

 

I've now played FF15 enough and consumed enough FF15 related content that I am inclined to say that the game is... actually good?
How hard am I trippin'?

 

I enjoyed FF15! Its flaws are pretty glaring but I had a fun time with it

 

I still found it enjoyable despite it having a ton of flaws

 

My biggest regret with FFXV was trying to finish the plot as quickly as possible and then wanting to go back after and be a completionist. I wish I took the time with the game and did everything it had to offer as I was playing, I feel like I would've enjoyed it more if I did. Still had a great time with it though

 

Yeah, i feel like the “side” content is meant to be more essential to the game to add to the road trip feeling of it.

it’s still a very rough game that got put out simply because they didn’t want to sink any more money into it, but there’s still a lot of charm in that cast of characters and the world. Not my favorite, but still an enjoyable game that I think could’ve became a top tier FF game if they had spent more time on it after the director change.

 

I would move the game up a whole point if you could attack on x and dodge on b instead of the other way around for some reason.

a quicker way to switch between spells instead of having to equip them would also be dope.

 

I need to replay it

I would play the hell out of that remaster. That and Underground 2 were my favorite Tony Hawk games.

 

I bought Oblivion along with all the DLCs for five bucks, i've never played it, its damn good

 

Also bought a under desk treadmill so I can get my steps in while JFG

 

I’d love a THUG remake, but it would also annoy tf outta me getting 1+2 and not 3+4

 

After revisiting THPS3 and THUG each on Steam Deck I think I'd rather get a THPS3 remake.

 

3 is the best one. I played the hell out of that on my PS2
