Halfway through. This is good but feels like a compilation more than an album, similar to SOS. I wonder if they were written at the same time, and these are just a bunch of b-sides.

Kitchen doesn’t even sound like her. Not sure how she pulled that off but wow she kills that one. Also really love Drive.

Not gonna lie I wasn’t annoyed before but I’m kinda annoyed now lol. Just weird how aggro she’s being about it or at least her tweets read that way

 

apparently the extra songs she's teasing are PSA, the solo version of Open Arms, and Take You Down (the first two having been made available on her website when SOS dropped). supposedly coming after New Year's.

That's dumb, they've been in my iTunes for two years, so basically just streaming debut or whatever.... Cool...

 

yeah, i had them tacked onto the standard version too and just changed the metadata for Lana. on Twitter she said she's trying to release even more than those 3, but i seriously doubt she's gonna get a ton more out in the near future. cool they'll be more widely available, but still dumb they weren't released that way when the base album dropped.

 

I quite liked a bunch of this on my first lesson, especially the more upbeat stuff. For sure should have just been its own album.

 

Wasn’t expecting a “Girl From Ipanema” interpolation from SZA but I’ve got one for the summer playlist now!

 

Haven’t listen yet but I only added the new songs on Apple Music especially since they put them at the top of the track list and the original album after lol

 

I like this a lot. “My Turn” is catchy as hell

 

This is definitely giving me a b-side feeling, most of these songs don't hold a candle to the main stuff on SOS. I get why it's a deluxe edition even if it's basically just another record. Don't get me wrong, even mediocre SZA is pretty good but I don't see myself picking this over SOS or CTRL any day.
