Worst album of the year?

 

Most forgettable album of the year

 

Wouldn't be close to either of those for me.

 

Those were the days—when Say Anything were considered one of the better bands in the scene.

 

Such a rotten piece of shit just like the frontman

 

I think the most forgettable album I listened to this year was the J. Cole album.

nah, if the lyrics and vocal melodies were more tolerable this would be a 3.5-4 pretty easy. the band's going hard, just a shame about what max is doing over it

 

I think the lyrics to this just give me a very visceral reaction that makes it barely listenable. But, I agree that the band themselves are decent on this.

this album would be great if I didn’t understand English

 

It said a lot about the band’s confidence in the album that they would rather tour behind the 20th anniversary of “Is A Real Boy” than support this.

 

Can someone pick out a track that demonstrates to me how bad the lyrics are?

 

Any of them.

 

Honestly you can make an educated guess based off some of those song titles. Any song that has Cum or Vibrator in the title is probably your best bet

 

I mean, "this Jew is finna vibrate" should be enough

 

Musically this was nearly a return to form, some of the riffs are truly classic Say Anything. Lyrically it was really intolerable - I wanted to defend it but I honestly just didn’t return to the album much.

 

3rd line in references "an army of balls", this surpassed my comedic expectations.

 

liked this one but fell below a lot of what I loved this year like COLD VISIONS

 

If there was an instrumental version of this album I would be all over it.
