Can't get over how great his live performances are. There's nuance in all of them.

 

I kinda don't like the live versions of his stuff that I've seen

 

Show tonight was good - definitely not really like a lot I’ve seen before haha. Stage presence and musical arrangements all line up with that Kimmel performance. I could see somebody that doesn’t know the songs that well fucking hating it lol. A bit noisy and abstract at times. Crowd was appropriately pretty dead except for Alesis, which people went nuts for

For anyone going to a date later on this tour, be warned that there was no opener. He went on an hour and a half after doors and played for an hour. Only one old song, which was a bit of a bummer (even if it’s one of his best ones). One new song though, which was very in the vein of this album

 

thank you for the warning. I land from a flight a couple hours before doors so I know I’ll need to get moving.

 

stumbled upon this guy on tik tok and immediately fell in love with this. amazing guitar work. I'd love to see him live.

 

wowowow what a show. I would love to see what they did at other stops because I feel like they riffed a ton and would switch it up every night.

holy shit I forgot how much I hate Terminal 5 until last night.

once again, they were amazing. slightly more movement on stage this time around. spoilers for the set...

they played DNM four times in a row, each time more unhinged than the last. it was also a part of the encore and the crowd went nuts.

 

way too many phones in the air though and the NYU kids were out in full force lol

I like them a lot but can see them not really being your thing as much. I would try A Museum Of Contradiction at least. Tracks like Dimeback and Isn’t It So Convenient feel very much like a precursor to this album

 

I Know How You Get is a banger

 

Late pass but this is probably my favorite album I’ve heard in a few years. I slept on it too long.
