Kind of disagree with the should have, Michigan's entire defensive scheme is built to limit OSU's offense. Now with how bad Michigan's offense was sure but that defensive performance was a materclass on how to beat what OSU wants to do and is extremely good at which we are seeing tonight. That said Tennessee is playing exactly into what Ohio State wants to do and is good at.

 

This Tennessee team beat Bama by ten and that’s all that really needs to be said for why Bama isn’t in the playoff. And I’m saying that as a huge homer.

 

Day has issues against Michigan for sure, but I will stand by it being a fluke. We could have easily won with the FG kicks too.

I just went and looked because I was wondering but it seems like you guys don't play a ton of man but then you blitz a lot on defense. Which the blitzing a lot is seemingly the problem more than the coverage.

The auto bye if you win your conference. No way schools like ASU and Boise should get byes when they aren’t even ranked in the top 10. Like Oregon playing Ohio State in the quarters is a crap reward for being the number one team while Penn State gets Boise State when they lost two games lol

 

Didn't last years NFL playoffs have multiple blowouts? It's not like using a win/loss system for a playoff automatically guarantees no blowouts.
