Damn midnight eastern will be 5 AM where I'm at. Looks like I'm going to miss out on the variant I want. If someone wouldn't mind ordering one for me, message me, and I can PayPal you the payment now, so you won't have to spend any of your own money. Thank you!

Not yet. But I'm saying I won't even see it until I'm sure what I want will be sold out.

  6. New song is up on Apple Music and I love it. The verses definitely remind me of Everything In Transit.

Man those nesting dolls of Andrew throughout the years look so cool haha

"Brooklyn.." is awesome (as if anything less was expected). Song titles look interesting.. cannot wait for this record!

Brooklyn is his next Cecilia. I could see this song being used for movie previews, and tv ad spots just as Cecilia was. Especially the "la la la" part. It's a perfect pop song. Super reminiscent of EIT and it makes me think that the 10 year tour for that record heavily influenced the writing for this album.

Also: looking forward to hearing "Birthday Song".
The longest song he's written since "Caves".

    The rivalry is back on

Bleh I don't like "Brooklyn, My Dear" much at all. Hopefully it's a grower

Yeah, not feeling Brooklyn after one listen. Will spin it once or twice more, but I also don't want to overplay it when the album is still three months away.

    Newbie

I'm in the "meh" camp on Brookyln. Maybe its the SoCo/Jacks fan hoping for a more piano release and not so synth/pop.

    Noobie

Pretty meh and sounds like he's trying to sound like 21pilots

I got a bleachers vibe, more than anything. Not saying it sounds exactly like them or anything, but if I had to compare the song to another band, that's who immediately came to mind.

"Brooklyn" is great, I like it a lot more than "Fire Escape" which I also quite enjoy. Really looking forward to the album.

I'm liking Brooklyn a lot more than Fire Escape. Kinda reminds me of I'm Ready.

I didn't like that whatsoever. "Fire Escape" is still a tune though.

"Brooklyn" is eh, but I might like it more in the context of an album.

Song is fine. Will probably be one of the weaker tracks on the record.

I think my issue is the lyrics. Both songs so far have just been fluff- catchy, but lyrically, at least to me, meaningless. Not about much at all. I know he can do better.
