it doesn’t even sound like the same band that made the first two record, they were on a great trajectory.

 

This is what reminded me that they dropped an album this year. I listened to it twice too!

 

So I'm very familiar with the idea of the whole "Platinum/In-Demand" price gouging tactic that venues/promoters have been using for years, but this is the first year I've noticed manipulating Standard admission prices after the On-Sale. I bought tickets to Tyler, The Creator during his artist pre-sale for 109.50 that jumped to 119.50 during the General On-Sale. I just thought that was a nice little perk for those who registered through his website. Now I just checked and the lone seat available in my section in the row behind me is available for 179.00 for "Standard Admission". To be clear, there's a pair of front row "Platinum" seats two sections over going for 326.75 each. Similarly, Kraftwerk were advertised for 49.50 for GA leading up to their On-Sale and are now listed at 69.50 as the standard price. Anyone else noticing this, or has it been going on for a while for more in-demand acts and I've been unaware?

 

Definitely been going on for a few years now, but they're getting more flagrant recently.

The Wonder Years played solo and chewy last night for the first time since 2011

 

Soupy mentioned on an Instagram Q&A recently that they've had talks about potentially doing an entire wheel of rarities tour and man do I hope that comes to fruition.

 

It's probably worth noting that they celebrate 20 years as a band in 2025. They wrote Buzz Aldrin during their first practice.

 

Crazy to me that The Wonder Years are now old enough to warrant a rarities tour

 

Give me that tour immediately, I will travel for it

Would love a TWY rarities tour. I think there are only like 10 songs of theirs I haven't seen live at this point.

 

We probably will get all 3 or 2 of the Get Stoked tracks. Usually the moog (I think that is what it is) is on stage if they are playing those tracks.
