Nawww those ppl are on the western side of Oregon and Washington too but they're almost worse because they all have a complex for being the minority viewpoint everyone else dislikes so they're even LOUDER and it's awful for everyone

I’m hanging out at my sister’s place for Thanksgiving weekend and we’re having a King Of The Hill Thanksgiving episode marathon rn. I know Arlen is a completely fictional city, but I’m now once again wondering where Arlen is supposed to be located in Texas?

Most of the big outings they have on the show are in Dallas, so you’d think it was in the Dallas metro area. But in one episode, Kahn mentions that he commutes to Houston for work. Dallas and Houston are 3 hours away from one another…

Hank also made a comment in an episode where when the weather is clear enough, they get the signal for San Antonio’s news channel. But SA is also like, 4 hours from Dallas… And Austin would be before SA too.

My final guess is somewhere here

I sometimes randomly think about this too. My last couple mattresses I bought online. Who is buying mattresses at the store anymore? I don't get how these chain brick and mortar mattress stores still exist.

Yesterday I saw 3 cars driving in a caravan promoting one of those mattress places that always claim they're having going out of business sales but never go out of business. And I saw the same caravan again hours later in a different area of town so they were truly just wasting gas to do that

I remember either last year or the year before, I saw Easter candy roll out just days after Christmas was over. Absolutely crazy.

But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Earth’s rotation doesn’t dictate seasons, capitalism does

Not to well actually, but retail stores have dedicated seasonal space, once the current season sells down, they can't just leave the shelves empty and have to backfill with something, it wouldn't make sense to fill the seasonal space with other merchandise that they'll have to move again so they use whatever the next season is.

has anyone here ever bought any Bombas socks or Tommy John underwear? I hear they’re both very comfy but I would feel better about trying either if someone here had tried them and had good experiences. I usually buy Jockey boxer briefs and Lacoste socks for the most part (tho I have an array of different brands) and I really just wanna know if either are a good investment or a waste of money

I have some Bombas socks, they're high quality and comfortable. I think they run a little small though.

My scale woke up and chose violence today. it asked me if I was still the same person because my weight had fluctuated so much higher. It was honestly so funny because it was so unexpected like I didn't even know that my scale could do that lmao

Some of it was higher muscle mass though so ur girl is getting those gainz :muscle:

YouTube and Twitch and platforms like that should introduce a feature where you can see creators in your metro area. It would be a good way to bring back regional/local focused content. The current Internet is killing regional culture that would be a good step to reverse that.

You ever think about how death is coming? Like I’m 36 in a month. Since I was 34, I can’t stop thinking about how short this shit is and how I’m not young anymore. It’s so wild that you are young and then you’re just not.

I'm way more unprepared for mum dying. She's too tall, at any moment she's one fall away from death and always rushing around. Last week she saw more distracting elves on the train. Luckily she was already sitting down but she was so proud that she didn't get distracted she stood up to try and take a picture she only to have to sit back down realising she had become dangerously close to being distracted.

Yeah the older I get and the more people I know who die... Like logically I know death is a thing but processing that everyone I know is slowly dying one by one is a whole other thing.
