That United defence shouldn't be playing a line that high, but it's hard not to be caught between two stools when you have someone as slow as Eriksen in a two man midfield.

Nope, second goal even more so — no way should the ball end up back at the keeper in two passes from the free kick. He screws it up but he shouldn't even be under that pressure, especially just after the first.

 

Agreed it was dumb to pass it back. But Forster had PLENTY of time to clear it. He literally stood there as the guy ran at him. Sure, dumb to play it back. That happens. But no way that holds any weight compared to what Forster did.
