I’ve heard that live once, it’s a good one. Unfortunately it’s not on the wheel they posted on IG. I’m hoping to skip Living Room Song and Threadbare on Friday. I’m good with everything else. Solo & Chewy would be my top choice.

but haven’t we only seen half of the wheel in that post?

I don’t get why they keep shoving Threadbare at us. Especially for a show like this.

Do they play a set and then the wheel or is it just the wheel?

  9. It's a Christmas song, so it makes sense to play it at what's essentially their holiday show. But I love that song so much that I'd take it at every show.

They have some of the set planned, and every 2 or 3 songs they spin the wheel.

Anyone in Philly want two free tickets to tonight’s show. DM me and I’ll transfer them over.

    Tickets have been claimed

Got to hand it to them. Announcing the Thursday date but having a hold on Friday was a flex.

I wish they were still doing this at the TLA, though. More chaotic energy there, but I get that they want a bigger crowd.

    this is all there is

Having just been at TLA for The Starting Line, does that room always sound bad or was it just whoever was running sound those nights?

I truly have never seen TSL sound good, it bums me out every time I've seen them

All shows at TLA should just be thrown at Union Transfer

that makes me feel a little better, both nights were all honky low end and lacking guitars, I thought it was just where we were standing the first night and we went further back the second one and it was "better" but still kinda trash. Felt bad because the bands were absolutely going hard, but especially the mix on Early November the first night was just straight up awful, Ace's guitar was nonexistent. Sound guys should have been ashamed.

I'd still say the shows were incredible and totally worth it, but it definitely could have sounded better in the room.

I liked tla when I was younger but as I get older I’d much rather no shows be there

I like the intimacy of it, but I also live within walking distance, so it’s been a nice community-feeling kind of venue.
