im looking forward to the dylan movie for the same reason im looking forward to the springsteen movie, its not this dumb silly biopic that tries to fit their entire life into 130mins. it spends 2 hours or so focusing on one specific period in the person's life, in this case its dylan's coming up in new york city and the release of his first 4-5 albums, where the springsteen movie is primarily zeroed in on the period of time he spent writing and recording 'Nebraska'.

i dont need a bob dylan or bruce springsteen bohemian rhapsody. no time for that.

 

im hesitant of the dylan movie bc his music means so much to me and biopics largely suck shit but I do like that, to murph's point, this isn't a cradle to grave pic, mangold has a good track record with this, and it seems like timmee really tried.

 

also boyd holbrook as johnny cash. like. come on.
