If it’s truly a repair, he’s out for the season most likely. 4-6 months, could be longer. But also at his age, you’d prefer that they were able to repair it and it wasn’t a clean up.

But I’ve also seen these reporters use the term repair for something ended up being a clean up so it’s hard to know until they get a firm timeline from the team.

 

The game doesn’t even count. Literally.

Definitely prefer the better/safer option for the kid's long-term health. The Sixers are famously opaque with how they deal with these things, so hopefully, they'll communicate this correctly.
