It was a fun show and they got lucky to get a third season from Netflix. But it was pretty clear Netflix wasn’t putting any advertising behind it and just hoping word of mouth would keep it afloat.

the consensus since S3 aired was that they weren't sure it was gonna come back but they hoped it could. only in the past couple days did Busy Phillips say it's dead.
yeah, when they announced it was moving to Netflix i was sure they weren't gonna put any effort into promoting it (as they do with the vast majority of their shows). i will say i think they ended on a good note, so it's sad to see it go, but not the end of the world.

  3. First couple episodes of No Good Deed were decent. Doesn’t have as strong of a hook as Dead To Me did in its pilot, but the way it’s quickly setting up many different threads at once reminds me of Fargo or something. Wildly stacked cast. Looking forward to seeing where it goes

From the Yellowstone finale ending, I am guessing Lloyd is going to be the main connecting character crossing over into this show.

Not surprising. With that cast i was so excited for this show. Huge let down.

People say Bad Monkey is great, but I’m 3 episodes in right now and would be fine just calling it quits. Maybe I’ll power through in case there’s a payoff

Never finished the first season of old man. It got bad very fast.

I don't really like Vince Vaughn, and that show feels like it's him pushing his Vince Vaughn-ness up to 11, so I will pass.

  19. Every time he showed up in Curb it felt so off, he just has an odd shady presence.

I don't remember feeling that in Swingers, Dodgeball or Old School though

    No good deed

    Nah.

My issue is that I'm not necessarily understanding why we're following all these "would be home buyers". It feels like a forced ensemble show for no reason. The show could be just the Lisa kudrow/ray ramano show....and they could still be selling the house and we see the other characters but we seeing their side stories seems irrelevant. Or it's taking too long to get to why.

Mixed bag of themes and comedy/serious thenes. Lisa kudrow grieving over guilt
...ramano grieving over guilt...and then silliness.

It's not a comedy or murder mystery or drama. Just an ensemble.

Ray ramano kinda sucks in this too.

    Im 5 episodes in

I didn't watch it but my wife watched it all in one sitting and loved it.

I finally started Season 2 of Shrinking. Got through three episodes last night. I was pretty hit or miss on Season 1 but so far I think Season 2 is better?

Really loving cien anos de soledad. Can’t believe this faithful an adaptation has been made for this book. They stayed true to the language (Spanish) location (shot in Columbia) look (Building a town then rebuilding it to depict the town of Macondo through generations) Some of the acting can be a bit one note but still endearing as it adds to the silliness aspect of the book. Then the characters grow up and get replaced with better actors so it works out! Sad to have to wait probably at least a year or two for the second half but glad it exists

I have feelings about this being adapted but they’re hard to pin down. At the very least I’m glad it’s not shit.
