Loving Interview With The Vampire! Was kinda iffy on it at first but it’s been evolving nicely

 

I wouldn't call it underrated anymore. That show's prestige has grown as all the millennials and elder gen z who grew up on it have gotten older. If it was underrated it wouldn't be getting a revival.

IASIP has had a similar evolution. What was once an under the radar cult show primarily watched by millennial college students in the aughts and early 2010's, is now considered one of the greatest live action comedies of all time and an institution because those millennials who loved it are now old enough to have a say in how we view culture.

 

Caught up on Landman today. Still mainly just enjoying this for watching BBT chewing up scenery, but man this plot is moving slow.

 

There's a plot?! Lol. Yeah I'm in it just for him too, he IS the show for me.

Just finished season 1 of The Diplomat. This show starts off a little slow, but it gets real good. Season 1 ends with on a good cliff hanger.

 

Just watched That Christmas on Netflix with my kids and it’s a damn shame this didn’t go to theaters. I adored this movie and can see it being a new Christmas staple. Might actually be one of my favorite animated movies of the year.

 

Yeah The Diplomat turned out to be a great rec by the thread. Halfway through season two and loving it. Been doing my best to space it out but only so much you can do with such short seasons

 

Keri Russell is just the best

 

She really is. I’ve never finished Felicity but I might start it over once I’m through The Diplomat

 

I thought the latest episode of Landman was the best one yet. This show feels like it is finally getting interesting.

 

Still feels like Hamm and Moore have almost nothing to do on the show; they've had such minor roles so far. Hopefully in the future some bigger stakes develop

I like a planned ending

 

Finished Black Doves. Keira Knightley was great in it but Ben Whishaw completely stole the show for me, he was great. I'm glad the show has some humor in it sprinkled in and I very much look forward to S2 and the ramifications of this first season. If anyone else was meh on it, I say try it again. It went from 'something I had on in the background' to 'ok I'm watching' with episode 3 and everything that followed.

Whew, good to know. Haven't watched her but looking forward to it now.

Good, I haven't read the books but I think there was 3 so looks like they're following those rather than doing their own stuff and not dragging it past the book ending.

 

Man, "That Christmas" really drew on the heartstrings. Great film.

 

Ok yeah Landman was GOOD. Had that grittiness that had been missing so far we see in other Sheridan shows.

 

Looking forward to all the "Wish.com Daniel Craig" jokes about Jason Isaacs, even though I do really like Jason Isaacs
