Ill end up with 26 shows this year with 4 of those being fest days (a 3 day fest and a standalone).

My favorite was Sleep Token at red rocks but that feels like it's cheating as it's such a great venue and I would have enjoyed about any competent band there but I do love sleep token and the live show was a spectacle that did a beautiful venue right.

Normally WWWY takes the cake as well, but I was underwhelmed this year, and also overwhelmed by the whole experience to where I'm out for next year.

    Other shows I loved:
Knocked Loose (Twice - Atlanta & Vegas)
    Sleater Kinney
    Two Door Cinema club
    Delta Sleep.

For next year, I've got 6 locked in currently.
    High Fade
    156/Silence
    Thrown
    Last Dinosaurs
    Imminence / Landmarks
    Pierce the Veil

Damn, you guys buying early! I tend to not stack up my year that far in advance but for the most part that's because I don't go after the 'hot' tickets and am mainly hitting club shows that thankfully are still pretty easy to get.

Yeah, most of mine are things that are out of town or that I knew would sell out fast haha

  11. I have tickets to see Ryley Walker in January, then literally nothing after that. A new baby in February will do that to the schedule. Crossing my fingers that I can make it to Boys Night Out in March, and I will be at the [rumored] Rilo Kiley reunion tour whenever that happens, but I suspect 2025 will be a very light show year for me, at least in the first half. Ideally I'll be able to do Riot Fest and whatever The Wonder Years end up at later in the year. A day of Lolla too if Olivia Rodrigo ends up playing.

    2024 highlights:

    - seeing Silverstein play a 175 cap vfw, although the experience itself wasn’t great
    - The Forecast at WWWY
    - The Academy Is on the Holiday From Real cruise
    - Anberlin with Stephen Christian surprise filling in for Matty
    - lots of shows starting to come Green Bay, bands I never thought I would be able to locally

I don't tend to buy a ton of tickets way in advance anymore. Otherwise, my calendar gets way over-booked so typically I only buy if it's something I'm 100% committed to going to or it's something that I anticipate will sell out quickly so I want to have the option to go/easily resell my tickets.

Overall my favorite set of the year was Something Corporate @ Four Chord.

Four Chord as a whole was a fantastic experience as well but these were the other shows that stood out for me over the course of the year:

    TWY/Menzingers @ Sherman Theatre
The Ghost Inside @ Stage AE
Neck Deep/Drain @ Franklin Music Hall
Beartooth/The Plot in You @ Franklin Music Hall
Arm's Length @ Thunderbird Music Hall
    Real Friends @ Preserving

2024 was not as stacked as a year for shows for me unfortunately as 2023 was. Missed out on a lot of shows that I wanted to go to due to some life complications. And 2025 will be even less stacked since I'll be on a thru hike for half the year.
