Around this time of year I think about the elf in the Rudolph movie that wanted to be a dentist and how bullshit it is that he got held back from making way more money so that he could instead make toys that have become obsolete in a crowded workplace

Yeah I watched that for the first time in a couple of years and I’m not a huge fan of it. My son is obsessed with the abominable snowman though, so I will be watching it approximately 20 more times before Christmas is over

I just feel like for a kids love there is a lot of bullying of Rudolph that goes beyond just the red nose, even his parents kind of shit on him. Plus there is some hitting and stuff when people are upset, just not a great thing for a two year old to see.

Thankfully my son gets tunnel vision once they see the abominable snowman, and once he falls into the water, Jameson constantly is saying “Bumble okay, not a big deal”, until abominable shows back up.

I got a different one, a doublecut model. Everything I saw about the Les Paul I had been looking at said that it wasn't priced in a way that matches its specs due to the year it was made and changes in the factory during that year so even with the good deal it didn't feel worth it, so I went with one that is more reliably good and still matches what I like
